Clary Sage Hydrosol
Origin: India
Description and usage: Made by steam distillation of Clary Sage leaves and flowers. It has a very beautiful scent, bittersweet and floral with herbal undertones. It makes a wonderful make-up remover or an astringent toner for acne, oily skin and also for mature or inflamed skin.
In hair care it makes a nice rinse after shampooing or for scalp conditioning, to help against hair loss or dandruff.
Its aroma is calming and sensual, can elevate mood, some say it is an aphrodisiac.
Many ways to use hydrosols: You can add them to baths, use them instead of water for the preparation of natural cosmetic products (especially fresh masks with white or green clay), you can use them as a deodorant, body spray, or a refreshing toner for the face, to cool and refresh the skin during the day, for the aroma in saunas, you can add them to water for hair rinsing, wear them as a perfume or use them for a massage with natural oils. They are also perfect as a linen spray before ironing, or as a room freshener and ideal for those who are just starting to deal with aromatherapy as they are milder than essential oils.

Storage: It is important that these natural Floral Waters be kept in cool, dark places. Refrigeration is the preferred method (especially after opening) in order to inhibit bacteria growth that can naturally occur over time. After opening, use within 6 months.
