Helichrysum Hydrosol

Description and usage: Made by steam distillation of Helichrysum flowers. It makes a perfect toner to help with skin problems like couperose (thread veins), rosacea, eczema, rashes or irritated and inflamed skin. It can help with scars or acne and is very gentle even for sensitive skin. It can also be used in cool compresses to help with minor bruises, wounds or sunburn as it is said to help reduce swelling, soothe and help the skin to heal naturally. It is useful as a body spray and a perfect addition to natural clay masks. It works especially well if combined with Chamomile Hydrosol.
Many ways to use hydrosols: You can add them to baths, use them instead of water for the preparation of natural cosmetic products (especially fresh masks with white or green clay), you can use them as a deodorant, body spray, or a refreshing toner for the face, to cool and refresh the skin during the day, for the aroma in saunas, you can add them to water for hair rinsing, wear them as a perfume or use them for a massage with natural oils. They are also perfect as a linen spray before ironing, or as a room freshener and ideal for those who are just starting to deal with aromatherapy as they are milder than essential oils.
