Pomegranate oil, cold pressed, unrefined. (Punica granatum)

Description: Cold pressed from the pomegranate seeds. It has a deep golden color and a gentle fruity scent. It has moderate viscosity and absorbs into skin quickly.
Valuable components: It contains a mostly punicic fatty acid (CLA) and also ellagic, linoleic, alpha-linolenic, oleic and stearic fatty acid. Because of its high polyphenol content it has a strong antioxidant effect.
Usage: Pomegranate seed oil is extremely moisturizing and nourishing, and contains a high amount of antioxidants that help fighting the signs of premature skin aging. Due to the presence of ellagic and punicic fatty acids it brings moisture deep into the skin and brings back elasticity. It creates a protective layer on the skin. Suitable for mature, dry, irritated, and coarse skin problems such as eczema. Anti-inflammatory, soothes the skin with sunburn or psoriasis and stimulates the production of skin's own collagen. Is excellent for facial and body treatments, including massage. If you use it on the hair, it will help to restore shine and manageability, it moisturizes and protects against environmental influences.
Facial Care: Apply the oil to clean face, which you previously moisturized with toner or hydrosol.
Body Care: After bathing or showering, apply to the still moist skin and rub in well. You can add a few drops of essential oil.
