Description

Origin: The Himalayas of India

Description and usage: Made by steam distillation from the cedar wood. It is pale yellow green color and has a dry - woody aroma, slightly camphoraceous, smoky, balsamic. Very subtle with a hint of spice. It is said to have aphrodisiac effect can be used as an astringent, diuretic, expectorant, sedative (nervous), stimulant (circulatory), tonic. In India, Himalayan Cedarwood oil has been used to keep spices fresh during storage.

Blends well with: All the citrus oils, giving them a base note that very nicely complements them. Also with Rosemary, Chamomile, Eucalyptus and many more.

Interesting facts: Cedarwood Himalayan is a tall, evergreen tree up to 50 m high, occasionally more. It grows extensively on the slopes of the Himalayas in northern India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The ancient Egyptians already used this oil, namely to embalm, for cosmetics and perfumery.

Warnings: Read the label carefully and follow the instructions for use. For external use only, not for ingestion. Do not use undiluted. Non-toxic, non-irritant. Avoid during pregnancy.
