Description

Hazelnut oil, cold pressed, unrefined. (Corylus avellana)

Origin: Turkey

Description: Cold pressed from hazelnuts. It has a nice, sweet and nutty aroma, and a light golden color, slightly darker than most vegetable oils. It has a fine texture and is easily absorbable into the skin. It does not leave an oily feel behind.

Valuable components: It is rich in many important minerals, such as calcium, potassium, magnesium and phosphorus, and contains high levels of vitamin E. It is rich in essential fatty acids like linoleic acid.

Usage: Hazelnut oil is great for facial or body massage. Because of its high vitamin E contents it helps to maintain the natural hair color since it prevents oxidation. It helps against premature aging, tones and fortifies the shin and gives it a younger look. It helps with cell regeneration and strengthening the capillaries. It has the ability to reduce the effect of UV rays, so it is often added to natural sun care products. It is also very good for moisturizing and acne prone skin care since it tones the skin and helps to tighten skin pores.

Hair mask: Apply to clean dry hair and massage into the scalp. Make sure it is spread evenly on all the hair so the vitamin E can enter the hair fiber. Leave on for a few hours or overnight (especially if you have dry hair), protected with a showering cap. Wash with a natural shampoo and rinse. This mask will help to protect your hair from the damage done by UV rays.

Facial care: Apply a small amount of the oil on clean skin which you previously moisturized with a toner or hydrosol.

Body care:  After bathing or showering, apply to moist skin and massage in. You can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil into the bottle for massaging.

Shelf life: Users can expect a shelf life of 6 months to 1 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
