Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia, heartwort) is a renowned and powerful plant from the Himalayas that has been widely used in Ayurveda since ancient times.

Manjistha soothes the Pitta dosha (fire) and thus reduces excessive heat in the body. It has antitoxic properties and helps maintain a balance between the three major energies in the body.

For hair use: Mix the needed amount of Manjistha powder with Henna or Cassia.

For skin use: Mix the needed amount of Manjistha powder with rose water to make a paste. Apply the paste to the face, avoiding the eye area.
