What It Is, How It Works
Do you use fabric softener? And do you know that its main task is to wrap and smooth the fibers of the textile, which is mostly provided by chemicals supplemented with artificial dyes and perfumes?
The squeegee neutralizes the alkaline washing bath with its acidic reaction, which is especially important for people with sensitive skin, eczema sufferers, allergy sufferers and small children, whose skin is much more permeable to chemicals than the skin of adults. The natural pH of the surface of human skin is acidic (pH 4-6), so the skin protects itself from the multiplication of microorganisms. In contrast, soap, washing soda and other detergents are alkaline. Unrinsed detergent residues in laundry therefore irritate the skin and it is good to neutralize them with a squeegee when rinsing.
The squeegee also prevents detergent residues from settling in the textile fibers and thus the graying of the laundry. The fibers return to their natural properties (towels absorb again) and appearance (brighter colors). We also recommend the squeegee when washing in hard water, in which the active substances of the detergents precipitate with the minerals contained in the water.
The squeegee is scented only with natural lavender oil
What to use it for
- for all washing in the washing machine and hand washing
- for all types of laundry
How to use it
Hand washing: For hand washing, after washing in detergent, put the squeegee in clean water, let it work for at least 10 minutes and then rinse the clothes.
Machine wash: Add the squeegee to the fabric softener dispenser for the final part of the wash.

What You May Be Wondering
Why replace fabric softener with a brush?
Most of us associate fabric softener with fragrant and soft laundry. But few people realize that it was originally developed to remove static electricity from synthetic textiles and that if we use it on cotton or functional clothes, we are spending unnecessarily, risking skin irritation and also depriving natural materials of their natural absorbency. Fabric softener works in a similar way to hair conditioner: it smoothes the fiber by coating it. However, this leads to a decrease in the absorbency and breathability of the textile, so fabric softener should not be used on underwear, towels, tea towels, bed linen, baby diapers, infant textiles or functional sportswear - simply where we expect the laundry to wick away sweat or absorb liquids. In addition, conventional fabric softeners contain synthetic perfumes. These chemical fragrances bind to the fabric and can cause skin irritation or allergies
There are clumps in the laundry rinse similar to little white clouds. Can I still use it?
If the laundry rinse is exposed to the cold, the plant surfactants which ensure its stability will condense. The clumps will dissolve at room temperature. These changes have zero effect on the product’s functionality.
Ingredietns: < 5 % non-ionic surfactants, citric acid, organic lavender essential oil (Lavandula Hybrida Grosso), linalool.
We improved the fabric softener with a pinch of sugar surfactant, which replaces the original denatured alcohol and ensures that the ingredients used are perfectly mixed. We choose the ingredients for our products in such a way that they represent the least possible burden on human health and the planet. This product does not contain synthetic perfumes or dyes and aligns with a non-toxic lifestyle.
