Organic Marula Oil 30ml
Description: Cold pressed from the seeds of the Marula tree, native to North Africa. It is a light oil, pale yellow to yellow-orange in color with a slight nutty odor. It absorbs nicely into the skin, nails or hair. It offers a protective layer, does not clog pores and helps regulate the formation of skin fat (sebum). It locks moisture into the skin, softening it and offering antioxidant protection.
Valuable components: This oil contains the most oleic acid, so it is perfectly absorbed and helps the skin to regulate the amount of natural sebum. L-arginine and glutamic acid help with deep moisture recovery and work against premature aging. It also contains proteins, antioxidants, phenols as well as vitamins E and C, which effectively fight the damage caused by free radicals or sunlight.
Usage: It is very effective for dry and dehydrated skin as well as mature skin. It helps to soften and smooth fine lines and can help to prevent stretch marks when used regularly. It nourishes and moisturizes the skin well. As it provides abundant moisture, it also helps chapped lips and thin or damaged hair ends. It is especially useful for cuticle and nail care and helps to prevent cracking of the skin around the nails due to drying out.
The Marula tree was once very rare and sacred to the people living there. In ancient times it was celebrated as an aid to fertility and a happy marriage. The trees are now being grown purposefully and these trees are much more numerous than in those times.
Facial care: Apply a small amount of the oil on cleansed skin which you previously moisturized with a toner or hydrosol. Apply regularly to the area around the eyes with gentle tapping.
Body care: After bathing or showering, apply to moist skin and massage in. You can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil into the bottle for massaging.
Nail /Cuticle care: Occasionally take a small fingertip bath in a cup of warm oil. Soak for 10 -15 minutes. Rub a few drops of oil into the cuticle twice a day.
Shelf life: Users can expect a shelf life of 6 months to 1 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
