Organic Borage Oil 30ml

Description: Cold pressed from the Borage seeds. Borage is a plant with blue star shaped flowers, which grows best in the Mediterranean countries. The oil has a golden yellow color and a very mild scent. It is appropriate for different skin types as it is a wonderful moisturizer, it calms the skin and helps to regulate the natural sebum production. It leaves a very light and soft feeling on the skin and helps against clogged pores. It is great for maintaining the youthful appearance of the skin.

It is also perfect for baby care - to soften the scalp or baby’s bottom.

Valuable components:  Due to its high content of GLA (gamma linolenic acid), it can help against skin inflammation. It contains lots of linoleic, linolenic, oleic and palmitic fatty acids.

Usage: Borage oil helps both healthy skin as well as inflamed and damaged  - for various conditions such as eczema, rosacea, dermatitis or acne. It soothes the symptoms of redness, itching and feeling of dryness. It is useful for both the face and the whole body, is lighter than most oils and does not leave a greasy feeling. Nevertheless, it protects the skin well, helps to regulate the natural sebum production and does not clog the pores.

It restores shine to hair, even if it is dry or brittle. It can be used on both the scalp and whole hair, preferably on the hair ends. It can help reduce excessive hair loss and to promote overall hair health.

Moms like to use it to protect baby's skin, care for the buttocks and to soften the scalp. 

Facial care: Apply a small amount (2-3 drops) of the oil on cleansed skin which you previously moisturized with a toner or hydrosol.

Body care: After bathing or showering, apply to moist skin and massage in. You can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil into the bottle for massaging.

Hair /scalp care: Rub a few drops on the problem areas twice daily.

Shelf life: Users can expect a shelf life of 6 months to 1 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
