Sage Hydrosol

Description and usage: Made by steam distillation of Sage leaves. It smells pleasant and herbaceous - woody, much like the fresh sage plant. It is suitable for normal to oily skin and acne as it is mildly astringent, soothing and purifying. It can help with seborrhea and toning tired or dull skin, it also works well as a deodorant.
Great for hair conditioning as it can stimulate the hair roots. Its aroma is uplifting and energizing; it can help you stay focused and alert when used as a room spray.
Many ways to use hydrosols: You can add them to baths, use them instead of water for the preparation of natural cosmetic products (especially fresh masks with white or green clay), you can use them as a deodorant, body spray, or a refreshing toner for the face, to cool and refresh the skin during the day, for the aroma in saunas, you can add them to water for hair rinsing, wear them as a perfume or use them for a massage with natural oils. They are also perfect as a linen spray before ironing, or as a room freshener and ideal for those who are just starting to deal with aromatherapy as they are milder than essential oils.
