How to choose a Hair Hydrosol (Floral water)?

Hydrosol (or floral water) is not only the best toner for the skin. It also takes excellent care of your hair! Choose hydrosols according to your hair type and color.
- For dry and light hair, Chamomile Roman or Chamomile German and Neroli hydrosols are suitable.
- For dry and dark hair, Rose, Lavender, Sage, Chamomile Roman or Chamomile German, and Neroli hydrosols are suitable.
- For dry hair, you can generally use Lavender, Rosemary, Geranium, Chamomile Roman or Chamomile German and Ylang-Ylang.
- For oily and light hair, Lemon hydrosol is ideal.
- For oily or dark hair, Rosemary, Peppermint, Sage, Tea tree and Juniper Berry hydrosols are recommended.
- For oily hair, you can generally use Lavender, Rosemary, Lemon and Peppermint.
- For normal hair, Rose, Lavender, Rosemary, Lemon, Geranium, Clary Sage are beneficial.
- In case of skin damage caused by the sun, shaving, or other procedures, it is useful to spray the skin with Immortelle, Lavender, or Rose water.
Hydrosols are an excellent using after washing hair. They do not need to be rinsed off as they do not contaminate the hair. They also have beneficial properties:
- Conditioning effect: Lavender, Rose, Chamomile Roman or Chamomile German, and Ylang-Ylang hydrosols.
- Strengthening effect and protection against hair loss: Rosemary, Sage, Lavender, Ylang-Ylang, and Rose hydrosols.
- Heat protection effect (during styling): Lavender and Rose hydrosols.
- Smoothing effect (if hair gets very tangled after washing): Lavender.
- Enhancing hair growth, strengthening, and adding shine: Sage, Ylang-Ylang, Lavender, Lemon and Rosemary, and hydrosols.
- Anti-dandruff effect: Tea tree, Lavender, Lemon, Juniper Berry and Orange hydrosols.
